Ravens Rounding Out Practice Squad

The Ravens signed seven to the practice squad after team trimmed roster to 53 last Saturday. That left one vacancy on the practice squad which normally totals eight which I’m predicting will go to QB Troy Smith, their 2007 fifth-round draft choice if he clears waivers. This should occur as a result of the Ravens signing free agent QB Byron Leftwich as the third QB on their 53 man roster or the need to bring back a veteran offensive lineman like Brian Rimpf.

The Ravens have signed the following players to their practice squad as of this date:

Cory Ross, second-year RB out of Nebraska
Matt Willis, rookie WR out of UCLA
Mike Kracalik, first-year OT out of San Diego State
Ikechuku Ndukwe, second-year OG out of Northwestern
Anthony Bryant, third-year DT out of Alabama
Atiyyah Ellison, third-year DT out of Missouri
Willie Gaston, rookie CB out of Houston
