Niners’ Host Ravens For Battle Of 2-and-2 Teams

The Ravens will look to right the ship against the San Francisco 49ers in a battle of 2-and-2 teams at Monster Park.  The Niners look to recover from a 23-3 trouncing they took from Seattle in Week Four, and the loss of quarterback Alex Smith, who left after the first possesion with a separated shoulder.  The offense has struggled, gaining over 200 yards of total offense only once this season.  Backup QB Trent Dilfer will get the start in place of Smith.  The Ravens are coming off a 27-13 loss in Cleveland.  Steve McNair threw for 307 yards and a touchdown, and Willis McGahee had 104 rushing yards on 14 carries.  The Ravens were held without a touchdown until late in the fourth quarter and relied on Matt Stover’s two field goals for their scoring.  Baltimore demolished San Fran 44-6 the last time they played in 2003.
