The Ravens have reached the second round of possible head coaches on their list, as the team has contacted former Chargers coach Marty Schottenheimer about the position. The team had said early on that Marty was not on their early list of coaches they wanted to talk to, but as other coaches have turned down talking to the team, the Ravens are now reaching out to the long-time NFL coach. The team has been turned down for interviews from Josh McDaniels and Kirk Ferentz of Iowa. There is no timetable for the team to name a new head coach according to reports. Schottenheimer has a career record of 200-126-1.
