Flacco’s Agent Says Progress Being Made in Contract Talks

Flacco

With the focus around the league on teams looking ahead to getting their first-round picks signed early, the Ravens are doing the same with first-round quarterback Joe Flacco, who seems more and more headed to being the teams opening day starter if things work out.  Joe Linta, agent for Flacco, told the Carroll County Times that the progress in the talks is “moving forward,” but that there is a “long way to go.”

The Ravens were none too happy that there future franchise QB was not at a recent camp due to an old rule that prevents rookies from participating in more than one three-day minicamp until final exams conclude at their respective schools.  He will be able to be with the team during a camp this upcoming week in which he should be able to get back on track to where he was a month ago.
