McGahee’s Eye Has Him Questionable for Monday

McGahee

Jamison Hensley of the Baltimore Sun is reporting that the Ravens running back’s eye is still swollen and has raised questions about his availability to Monday’s game.

“It still looks pretty bad to me,” coach John Harbaugh said of McGahee, who walked through the locker room wearing sunglasses. “As long as he can see, he’ll play. But if he can’t, he’s not going to be able to play. So, we’ll have to try to get that swelling down.”

In his first game since returning from a knee injury, McGahee was limited in the second half Sunday after suffering a laceration on his right eyelid. The cut drew blood, forcing him to the sideline a couple of times for treatment.

Believing McGahee was hurt intentionally by the Cleveland Browns, the Ravens have submitted the tape to the NFL for review. The league could levy fines if there is evidence that the Browns purposely hurt McGahee.

“We asked them for their opinion on what happened,” Harbaugh said. “We’re waiting to hear back on it.”

Personally I haven’t seen the tape since I had a ticket to the game. But, from what some people have said it looked pretty clear that their were some hands into the facemask. More on this as it develops.

    Ok. Thanks for the comments.
But I have a few questions.

What do you mean update the games? I have written previews of each week and game results for each week as well. If you mean the schedule on the side board I don’t handle that and I’ll bring to the admin’s attention.

Now as for content. Sure part of my posts have been news related because that’s part of this site providing news. I did a commentary piece that you wouldn’t find on the Sun about the NFL’s cancellation of the Houston game.

However I’m glad to get some comments and interaction for a change. At least I know someone is reading. What are you interested in hearing? I’ll be happy to try and write about it.

    Thanks,
    Ar
