Ravens’ Yanda Out For Season

The Ravens will be without starting right guard Marshal Yanda for the rest of the season. Yanda was placed on injured reserve on Tuesday after sustaining an injury to his right knee during Sunday’s lopsided loss to the Colts. Yanda, who was taken in the third round in the 2007 draft, started in all five games for the 2-and-3 Ravens this season. Meantime, Baltimore also placed rookie linebacker Tavares Gooden on IR, signed tight end Edgar Jones and wide receiver Ernie Wheelright to the active roster, and added defensive back Derrick Roberson and offensive guard Brian Johnson to the practice squad
