The Birmingham Press-Register reports that the Ravens like what they see from Alabama LT Andre Smith, who is sure to be a high pick in April’s Draft. Here is the tidbit about Smith:
Baltimore Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome thinks Alabama left tackle Andre Smith can recover from his pre-draft mishaps to have a productive career in the NFL. “I don’t think that’s a bad reflection on Andre,” Newsome said. “He made a bad decision leaving the (NFL) combine (early). … Can you recover from a bad decision? Yes, because at the end of the day, we’ve got to put the tape on. And when you put the tape on, you see Andre Smith.”
