Walker should stick only because of experience but he won't get on the field much with the additions of Webb and Carr and if Samari Rolle ever gets healthy. But if he ends up being a late cut I wouldn't be surprised. Evan Ogelsby didn't help his cause to make the team either. Leon Washington ran the ball very well but most of those runs were with Lewis and Reed on the bench. First Team O-Line had trouble with the Blitz early but made adjustments. Oniel Cousins may not be ready to take the backup Tackle spot yet. Smith struggled getting any tempo to his group, although the Option play was a package suited to his skills. I was surprised that Beck didn't play. Either his injury kept him out or they wanted Troy to get more work. Not sure. Good points lafdoc.

Glad rex came in the preseason to show us what he thinks are the soft points of his old defense. Obviously he found something in the run game esp against the third down pass defense looks like it can be run against and linebacker pass defense looks a little slow otherwise first unit played great. offensive line still havinf trouble running when they stack the line to see if flacco cxab=n win with the pass i guess rex wasn't as enamored of our joe as harbaugh is.
