The Ravens made several moves on Tuesday, signing free agent tight end Tony Curtis and trading linebacker Prescott Burgess to the New England Patriots for a conditional seventh-round draft pick.
Curtis, 6-foot-5, 251 pounds, was an undrafted rookie out of Portland State when he joined the Dallas Cowboys in 2007.
In two campaigns with the Cowboys, Curtis became a valuable special teams player and posted 11 catches for 50 yards and three touchdowns. All three of his touchdowns came during his rookie season.
Curtis had been battling injuries, but also worked out for the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles this summer.
