Reported by the Carroll-County Times
Terrell Suggs has a slight MCL tear. This injury is similar to the one Pittsburgh Steelers safety Troy Polamalu suffered in the season opener and would keep Suggs out for a significant period.
This injury comes at a crucial time as the Ravens (5-4) are fighting for a wild-card spot and desperately need to put together some wins against very tough opponents. Baltimore will host the Indianapolis Colts (9-0) and Pittsburgh Steelers (6-3) in its next two games.
Clearly this is the most damage that the Cleveland Browns have inflicted on an opponent all year.
Brady Quinn was fined an undisclosed amount but that really doesn’t do much for me. It was a punk move, plain and simple. None of that helps the Ravens defense which could certainly use Suggs during a crucial stretch in their schedule as they attempt to stay alive in the Wild Card race.
