I watched the play a bunch of times too. Ward does grab his facemask but only after Carr's back is to the play. If Carr is in the right position then Ward can't pull his usual tricks.

I understand the frustration at Pittsburgh only getting called for 4 penalties. Unfortunately I expected it going up there. So the Ravens needed to take advantage of every opportunity. It was a bad sign when they came away with 0 points after two TD's called back and Mason's drop.

Carr atoned for his awful PI against Ward (Turn around!)

really? did you not watch the play? if not please go back and re-watch it. hines ward got away with a horrible face mask....he yanked carr toward him by the face mask to get a better angle to try to catch the ball or to try to draw contact....so carr had no chance to turn around. ward constantly gets away the most ridiculous things. he did the same thing a few weeks ago...i think the raiders game...not sure...the defender was behind him and he grabbed his face mask and nearly pulled him to the ground then caught a td pass.

not to mention the steelers right tackle headlocking/facemasking our guys from behind about 3 or 4 times that didn't get called...one was on barnes' sack so at least it didn't hurt us too much but on the others the steelers made some plays.

Another thing that frustrated me along with Ngata laughing on the sideline after his awful penalty was Derrick Mason smiling and laughing when he let that touchdown pass clang off his face mask. Sometimes I wonder if these guys even care as much as the fans do.
