Kokinis Back with the Ravens as a senior personnel assistant

The Ravens have rehired former Browns general manager George Kokinis, who worked in Baltimore’s front office for 13 years. The team announced Tuesday that Kokinis will serve as a senior personnel assistant. General manager Ozzie Newsome says Kokinis will help evaluate college and pro players.

Kokinis was Baltimore’s director of pro personnel from 2003-08, before leaving to become Cleveland’s GM. He was dismissed by the Browns on Nov. 2 with the team 1-7, then filed a grievance with the NFL seeking more than $4 million in compensation and damages from the team.

An undisclosed settlement was reached between Kokinis and the team in February.
