Flacco Says New Look Ravens the Best Team He Has Been On

Sporting News reports that Ravens QB Joe Flacco loves the team he has heading into the 2010 season, saying it is the best team he has been on to date:

The Ravens advanced to the AFC championship game two years ago with a rookie quarterback and won a playoff game last season. In both cases, they entered the postseason as a wild-card team. This year, they are favored to win the AFC North, and many regard them as strong Super Bowl contenders.

To reach the Super Bowl, though, they’ll need better play from Joe Flacco, who has one TD pass and six interceptions in five postseason games. In his third season, Flacco will have a much-improved cast around him with new wide receivers Anquan Boldin and Donte’ Stallworth.

“I’m pretty excited, and I want to say it’s the best team I’ve been on,” Flacco told The Baltimore Sun. “We’ve got the talent to go as far as we want to. It’s about playing up to our capabilities. I think we’ve done that for the most part.”
