Stallworth Refutes ESPN Report

As is common these days, Donte Stallworth took the internet and used his Twitter account to clear up a report that was made just before Monday night’s game.

ESPN analyst, Keyshawn Johnson said that he had “heard that Stallworth was out of the season”.

Tuesday morning Stallworth responded:

Tuesday morning, Stallworth wrote via Twitter (D_Stallworth18), “Contrary to remarks made by my big homie Keyshawn on @espn last night, I’m not out for the season. Walking fine w/o crutches…Feeling good! :)”

He followed that up with another comment. “Not bashing Keyshawn at all, that’s my big homie…Just wanted to clear things up for all.”

Of course I’d love to take the opportunity to bash Me-Shawn for his sloppy journalism but there is always a chain in these messes. Supposedly, Chris Mortenson misreported the story first from which Adam Schefter corrected him. So I guess Keyshawn never got the memo.

At any rate the Ravens and Stallworth are hopeful he will return after the Bye week. I still have my doubts but some players, Jeremy Shockey comes to mind, have been able to rebound quickly from this type of injury.
