X-Rays Negative on Reed

The biggest injury concern coming out of last Sunday’s game was of course Safety, Ed Reed. Several times throughout the game he was slow off the turf and following his interception late in the game his teammates actually helped carry him off the field. Reed’s left ankle landed awkwardly after a collision with several players in the end zone.

But Coach John Harbaugh delivered some good news during his Monday press conference and stated that “Everything came up fine on the X-Rays”.

It appears as good news for now. Of course be watching the injury reports during practice this week to see just how limited Reed will be in practice. Both Tom Brady and Patriot Coach Bill Belichick have made it no secret how much they respect Reed’s play and Baltimore will need all hands on deck in the secondary to slow the New England offense.
