Could McClain Stay in Baltimore?

A shriveling market for Inside Backers May Keep McClain in Bmore

The first weeks of Free Agency saw some huge contracts handed out to pass rushers and catchers. However, the inside linebackers are still waiting for their gravy train that may never arrive.

That could be good news for the Ravens, who would like unrestricted free agent linebacker Jameel McClain back in Baltimore. The fifth-year linebacker, who has drawn some interest on the market, isn’t rushing to sign a new contract. McClain has visited with the Denver Broncos, but it appears unlikely that he’ll end up there after the team re-signed middle linebacker Joy Mays to a three-year deal recently.

I figured that McClain would be gone by now and since the market seems to have turned on his position there is always a chance that he could return – if the price is right.
