Graham Should Provide Help to a Weak ST Unit
It’s taken longer than most fans would have liked but the Ravens have broken into free agency.
Defensive back and special teams ace Corey Graham told the Chicago Tribune that he will sign with Baltimore on Friday. It’s a two-year deal, reports the Carroll County Times’ Aaron Wilson.
Graham, 26, is one of the elite special teams players in the league, and will also provide more depth in the Ravens secondary.
Graham was the NFC’s Pro Bowl special teams representative last season as a member of the Chicago Bears. He has 75 special teams tackles since 2007, ranking third in the NFL.
Graham excells as a gunner and on all four core units of special teams (kickoff, kickoff return, punt and punt return.)
He would help the Ravens, who allowed three return touchdowns and the second-most average yards per kickoff return (29.2) in the league last year.
