Lardarius Webb Charity Softball Game Scores a Touchdown

for Casey Cares’ Critically Ill Children

Baltimore, Md. –  Fifty of Casey Cares critically ill children and their families don’t have to wait until fall to see their favorite Ravens’ players.  Through a generous donation from Ripken Baseball, these special families will have two suites and club level seats to the 3rd Annual Lardarius Webb Charity Softball Game on Sunday, June 3rd at Ripken Stadium.  Celebrity players this year include Baltimore Ravens’ Lardarius Webb, Joe Flacco, Ray Rice, Torrey Smith, Ed Dickson, Jimmy Smith, Cary Williams, radio personalities, local celebrities and many more.  Families will meet their hero Lardarius Webb and others.  The Casey Cares Foundation provides uplifting and ongoing programs with a special touch for critically ill children and their families.

Tickets for this event are provided through the Family Festivities Program which provides tickets for area attractions, shows, sporting events, etc. along with special opportunities to enhance the experiences.

“These special events encourage the families to focus on such a fun activity rather than think about their child’s illness,” commented Casey Baynes, Founder of Casey Cares. “Lardarius Webb has been involved with Casey Cares for some time and has been wonderful to our kids.”

When:              June 3rd, 2012;  Meet and Greet begins at 1:00pm

Where:             Ripken Stadium, 873 Long Dr, Aberdeen, MD.  Outside Defense Team’s Clubhouse
