DE Prospect McAdoo Out for Season

Another Lost Season for the Promising McAdoo

Defensive End Michael McAdoo tore his Achilles tendon during organized team activities (OTAs) on Thursday and had successful surgery on Friday, according to Aaron Wilson of the Carroll County Times.

McAdoo created plenty of buzz among fans as he showed solid upside in rushing the passer, an area the where Ravens needed help after Terrell Suggs tore his Achilles tendon earlier this off-season.

McAdoo is a 6-foot-7, 245-pound pass rusher from the University of North Carolina.

He declared for the NFL supplemental draft last year following a string of eligibility issues, but went undrafted.

The Ravens signed him after the supplemental draft and he spent his rookie season on injured reserve with a knee injury.
