Ravens to Work out Guard Eric Steinbach Today

The Ravens are set to work out the former Brown later today.

The Ravens will put former Cleveland Brown Offensive Guard Eric Steinbach through the paces to see what he has to offer the team.

Steinbach, 32, is a former Pro Bowl alternate who missed last season with a back injury that required surgery, as he had disc fragments removed from his spine.

Steinbach was a player that I thought the Ravens might have interest in to replace Grubbs back in April. Since then they have drafted Kelechi Osemele and signed former Bengal Bobbie Williams as possible options at Left Guard. This could mean that if they sign Steinbach then he would battle it out with Williams for the spot and it might allow Osemele to work into a starting role if need be.
