Who’s In, Who’s Out Vs. Jaguars

The Starters Should Go Almost Three Quarters Tonight.

The third game of the preseason is generally seen as the starters’ final tune-up.

The starters should get about Three Quarters of action tonight but that doesn’t mean everyone will be suited up and ready to roll.

Ed Reed and Ray Lewis will probably see less than three quarters because they certainly don’t need to pop a knee in a meaningless game.

Marshal Yanda was absent from Tuesday’s practice after a collision that ended his day early Monday, so the team may be cautious with him and let him sit out.

Both Sergio Kindle and Sean Considine have been wearing the red no-contact jersey since Sunday’s practice.

Kindle left Friday’s game with a sprained shoulder. He’s gone through individual work, but not the 11-on-11 portions of practice. Considine got “dinged” during the game, according to Harbaugh. Considine said he didn’t get hurt but doctors say otherwise. His exact injury is unknown.

Pernell McPhee has been out the past three practices because of a death in his family. Usually players who don’t practice don’t dress for the game.

Jah Reid is back on the sideline with a reported re-aggravated calf injury and is unlikely to play.

Linebacker Darryl Blackstock was not present Tuesday after practicing Sunday and Monday for unspecified reasons.

Of course don’t expect to see Ed Dickson (shoulder), Dennis Pitta (hand), Ryan McBean (ankle), Terrell Suggs (achilles), Josh Bynes (back) and David Reed (knee) as well.
