Instant Reaction: Ravens up 17-10 on Bengals at Halftime

Ray Rice runs in from 7 yards out for his first Touchdown of 2012.

Matt Jergensen:

Ravens offense has been fantastic scoring on every drive except one. Flacco looks totally in command of his group. The defense hasn’t been as successful surrendering 176 yards to Cincinnati and two Fourth-Down conversions. The pass rush which was a concern coming in hasn’t done much to throw off Andy Dalton. The Bengals get the ball coming out of the break, so the defense will need a three and out to get some of that early momentum back.

Jonathan Scruggs:

Ravens defense looks clueless against Dalton since the start of the 2nd quarter. The zone coverage that Pees is running just isn’t working. If the Ravens are going to win this game they are going to have to score on every possession or thereabouts.
Replacement refs really look awful tonight. First with the botched call on Boldin’s touchdown. And then the botched call on about half the calls and no calls since.

Bravo to Pees for making the necessary adjustments. Andy the Ginger Dandy looks flustered.
