Power Rankings: Week Three

Matty Ice is on fire.

Welcome to the first power ranking for the NFL 2012-2013 Campaign. More poor officiating, more upsets… How do you rank this season? As always if you think you can do better; leave your own rankings in the comments below.

1. Atlanta Falcons (3-0). The Falcons are on fire behind the suddenly all world Matt Ryan.

2. Houston Texans (3-0).  Texans are playing lights out football. Have to hope Schaub isn’t too shaken up after that devastating helmet to helmet hit.

3. Arizona Cardinals (3-0). With the talent they have on Defense, this Cardinals team could be for real. Much depends on Kolb’s hot streak.

4. San Francisco 49ers (2-1). Setback for the Niners. Still a solid team.

5. Baltimore Ravens (2-1). Ravens start slow but take advantage of a sloppy game to squeak out a dramatic win over the Pats.

6. New York Giants (2-1). Giants flat out smoked Cam Newton.

7. Cincinnati Bengals (2-1). Back to back wins have the Bengals in second place atop the AFC north

8. San Diego Chargers (2-1). Chargers can’t keep pace with the Falcons.

9. Dallas Cowboys (2-1). Cowboys rebound with a squeaked out win over Tampa.

10. Chicago Bears (2-1). Bears win but Cutler is still a douche.

11. Seattle Seahawks (2-1).  Seahawks call to the refs for help, and find deliverance. Disgraceful that they earn another W.

12. Philadelphia Eagles (2-1). The real Eagles finally showed up against the Cardinals.

13. Minnesota Vikings (2-1). Massive win over the solid Niners

14. New York Jets (2-1). For the Jets a win is a loss. Without Revis the wheels could fall off this wagon pretty fast.

15. Buffalo Bills (2-1). Buffalo barely holds on to beat the Browns.

16. Green Bay Packers (1-2). If you’re a Packers fan this morning, you are seriously contemplating a hate crime upon Roger Goodell.

17. New England Patriots (1-2).  Tom Terrific fails to conjure any phantom calls and ultimately falls apart vs. the Ravens.

18. Pittsburgh Steelers (1-2). Steelers find themselves in the hole unexpectedly. Losses like that tend to come back to haunt you.

19. Denver Broncos (1-2). Manning was great. Schaub was better.

20. Washington Redskins (1-2). Injuries keep damning this team to failure. RGIII is bringing hope, but there’s work to be done.

21. Detroit Lions (1-2). Excruciating loss delivered at the hands of the Scabs.

22. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-2). Bucs have talent, they just need to find a way to string it all together. Schiano is quickly becoming Rex Ryan south.

23. Oakland Raiders (1-2). Thank you Oakland! Sincerely, Baltimore.

24. Carolina Panthers (1-2). Cam Newton is struggling to stay afloat.

25. St. Louis Rams (1-2). The Rams have some spark, but lack the overall talent to take it anywhere.

26. Miami Dolphins (1-2). Tough, tough loss for the Dolphins.

27. Indianapolis Colts (1-2).  Peyton started off poorly too. Luck is playing well enough to win, he just has no pieces around him.

28. Tennessee Titans (1-2).  Titans win? Wow. Well good for them. A for effort

29. Kansas City Chiefs (1-2). Chiefs get in the win column. Jamal Charles is still a world beater

30. Jacksonville Jaguars (1-2). Jaguars job the Colts out of victory.

31. New Orleans Saints (0-3). Nothing is going right for New Orleans these days.

32. Cleveland Browns (0-3). The Browns needed a win. Now they have to worry about Baltimore, on the road, on a short week
