Instant Reaction – Final – Ravens 25 – Browns 15

Flacco Came Through When He Needed to.

Gene Winner:

Aside from the offensive outage for a quarter,  the team played well on both sides if the ball. Ed Reed could have easily had 3 interceptions; excellent redzone D. The team just does better with Rice in the fold.

Jonathan Scruggs:

Ravens played well in the 1st and parts of the 4th. Everything else was shaky at best. I will give credit where credit is due to the red zone defense which was stellar all day. Dean Pees may not be the answer at DC if he cannot get his corners to press the line. It has to change.

Ben Zinman:

This one almost ended in disaster. Except for their final 2 drives the offense accomplished nothing in the second half. The defense played to the bend don’t break philosophy of defense. The offense or should I say Cam Cameron did a much better job of utilizing Ray Rice. The Browns were close enough to score 5 touchdowns instead they had to settle for 5 FGs. I give some credit to better play then prior games by the Ravens defense. I would also attibute the lack of touchdowns to a very weak Browns offense.

Matt Jergensen:

The Ravens started strong, sputtered through the middle quarters but finished with a ten point win on the road. Many of the same questions will remain about this team even though they are now 6-2. The Browns ineptitude was comical to watch.
