Who’s going to make the ‘Highlight Film’ after Sunday’s contest?
The Gridiron staff predict their player who will have the most impact:
Matt Jergensen:
Torrey Smith. “The Ravens should pound the football on the ground against a leaky Colts defense but they should also use play-action and look downfield, It’s no surprise that Smith has caught touchdowns in 6 of the Ravens 10 wins this season.”
Jonathan Scruggs:
Joe Flacco. “In a game where quarterbacks are front and center, Joe Flacco rises to the occasion and outshines upstart Andrew Luck, who is embarrassed in his first playoff test.”
Gene Winner
Ray Rice: ”Offensive coordinator Jim Caldwell seems to has a nice formula; rookie running back Bernard Pierce wears down the opposition’s defenses and Ray Rice exploits the one-one-one match-ups. I see a heavy dose of Ray Rice in this match-up. So, expect Rice to be in the end-zone a few times.”
Ben Zinman:
Joe Flacco: ”Joe’ s performance will determine whether the Ravens move on to play in the next round. Andrew Luck is a rookie who will perform like a rookie.”
