Which player on the Patriots should not be overlooked in game planning for a win?
Jonathan Scruggs:
The Ravens cannot overlook Stevan Ridley. Although his production has bottomed out over the last few weeks, the kid is a gamer, and has the potential to really shred the Ravens. He didn’t show much in week three, but that does not mean the Ravens can sit back and defend nothing but the pass. They have to respect the talent the Pats have on the ground.
Matt Jergensen:
”The Patriots are much more potent in a two Tight End formation and even though Rob Gronkowski is out for this game Aaron Hernandez is not. Hernandez didn’t play in the regular season Week Three match-up but look for him to be a big part of the game plan as New England hopes to exploit mismatches against the Ravens linebackers.”
Gene Winner:
The leader on sacks for the Patriots in the regular season was DE Rob Ninkovich. Not only did he have 8 sacks, but also had 5 forced fumbles. While Ninkovich is coming off an hip injury he should be ready to go Sunday. The Ravens must know where he is line-up and make sure to keep him blocked in the pass game.
Ben Zinman:
The Ravens should not forget about Aqib Talib. He did not join the team until 6 weeks before the end of the regular season. Since he joined the New England Patriots he was getting less then a handful of tackles a game. Last week against the Texans he came up with 10 tackles. Aqib is big and fast. Torrey Smith may not be able to easily run past Talib.
