Ravens claim Miles off waivers, release Trawick

Yesterday, the Ravens claimed safety Jeremy Miles off waivers. Miles, a former Bengal, has a lot of experience on special teams and the team hopes he can make an instant impact. According to statistics kept by the Bengals, the fourth year veteran has recorded 15 special teams tackles each of the last two seasons.

In a corresponding move, the team released undrafted free agent safety Brandon Trawick, who is known for being the guy who ran into Jacoby Jones in week one. Trawick was later re-signed to the team’s practice squad, as the team still is holding out hope on his potential.
