Castillo to coach offensive line

In what is somewhat of a surprising move, coach John Harbaugh announced at today’s press conference that the Ravens plan to bring back run game coordinator Juan Castillo. The team plans to remove Castillo’s old title and move him to offensive line coach.

It is unclear though, what this means for current offensive line coach Andy Moeller, but it would appear that Moeller will be the fall guy, and not Castillo, for the team’s poor offensive line play this year.

It is also unknown whether or not the team will continue to try and use the same run game philosophy Castillo tried to install this past season, or if they will return to their old scheme that helped them win a championship a year ago. Regardless, Castillo, who is regarded as one of the better coaches in this league, will get another chance to prove himself to the Ravens and all the fans who doubt him.
