Ravens To Hold Interview With Steelers RB Coach Kirby Wilson

Since offensive coordinator Jim Caldwell left the Ravens to become the head coach of the Detroit Lions, the position has remained unfilled. The Ravens have interviewed some big names already for the position. Guys like Scott Linehan and Kyle Shanahan have already been through interviews with head coach John Harbaugh this past week. The Ravens have also held interviews with some college coaches Harbaugh declared.

On Wednesday, the Ravens will hold an interview with Pittsburgh Steelers running backs coach, Kirby Wilson. Wilson has been the Steelers running backs coach for seven seasons and was assumed to be the offensive coordinator after Bruce Arians until a house fire left Wilson extremely hurt and the Steelers hired Todd Haley. Wilson returned as the running backs coach for Pittsburgh and helped lead Le’Veon Bell to a very successful rookie season.

Wilson started his coaching career in 1985 on the staff of Pasadena City College. We will see if Wilson matches what the Ravens are looking for. If he does, Wilson will become an offensive coordinator for the first time ever.
