Ravens Release RB Dixon with an Injury Settlement

BaltimoreRavens.com

Ravens have released running back Kenneth Dixon with an injury settlement according to Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic.

Dixon is an elusive and talented runner when healthy but, unfortunately for the Ravens, he has very rarely been healthy since being drafted in the fourth round out of Louisiana Tech in 2016.

He missed the entire 2017 season and has carried the ball only 148 times in 18 games in his three-year NFL career. The Ravens really had little choice but to finally throw in the towel.

It seems unlikely he will quickly resurface as he is rehabbing a fractured knee but should be back on NFL radars next spring.

The Ravens will move forward with veteran Mark Ingram, 2018 discovery Gus Edwards, and electric rookie Justice Hill.
