Ravens Reward Safety Chuck Clark with a Three-Year Extension Worth $16 Million

The Ravens are bringing back Chuck Clark, as the team announced on Monday they have signed him to a three-year contract extension.

NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported the extension is worth $16 million over three years, including $10 million in guarantees.

The safety stepped up in a big way in 2019, as he played in all 16 games with the team, starting 12 games.

He put up 73 tackles, nine passes defended, two forced fumbles, one interception and one sack.

Clark stepped up for Tony Jefferson who missed most of the season with a knee injury. Jefferson is entering the final season of his four-year deal in 2020 and it’s likely Clark will step in to take his spot after the 2020 season.

Clark came to the team has a sixth-round pick back in the 2017 NFL Draft.
